1.Two students namely SitaLekshmi and Deepthi has participated and presented their papers in International Conference on Biopesticides at St. Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai on 26/11/2013.

Ancy Justin had one second prize for Paper presentation in National symposium on Biotechnology for sustainable biodiversity conducted by AVC College Tholayavattam on 12^th September 2014.
8 students participated and won cash award of rupees 1500 for essay writing, Turncoat, Photography, Skit conducted by Department of Botany, NMC Marthandom on 13^th January 2015.
20 students participated and 8 students won prizes in paper presentation, just a minute and Art from waste conducted by Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology, NICAS Kumarakoil on 5^th February 2015.
Sreedevi S won best poster award in International Conferrence on ‘Reasserting microbial biotechnology to deflate Global disease Burden’ conducted by Department of Biotechnology, MS University, Thirunelveli on 28^th, 29^th September 2015.
7 students participated and won prizes in Biowiz 2016 conducted by Department of Botany, St. Xavier’s College Palayamkottai on 9^th February 2016.
15 students participated and won overall champion trophy in BioQuest 2015 conducted by Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology, NICAS Kumarakoil on 4^th February 2016.

Staff Achievement

38 papers were published by our staff members from the academic year 2007. Student project was sanctioned by TNSCST to our student Shafi Thompson (2008) Guided by Prof. K. Sukesh and Miss. Neethu P John and Jayanthi (2009). Guided by Dr.T.AHema and Prof. Dr. Prakash G. Williams.
