DEPARTMENT OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY

A professionally-integrated coaching department at Malankara Catholic College, Mariagiri β€” formerly the Malankara School of Commerce β€” preparing students for the ICAI examinations while they pursue a regular B.Com degree, and equipping them with the technical mastery, practical training and ethical grounding to excel in the world of finance and commerce.

CA coaching began in 2011 β€” The Department of Chartered Accountancy at Malankara Catholic College, formerly conducted under the Malankara School of Commerce, started in 2011 to nurture finance professionals from the region. Since then it has established itself as a leading centre for commerce education in South Tamil Nadu, especially for rural students aspiring to build a career in accountancy, audit and finance.

OVERVIEW

Building Finance Professionals from the Ground Up

The Department of Chartered Accountancy at Malankara Catholic College is dedicated to preparing students for the rigorous examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), while they simultaneously pursue a regular B.Com degree. This integrated approach allows students to earn a recognised undergraduate degree alongside their professional CA preparation β€” maximising both academic and career outcomes.

Situated at Mariagiri, on the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border, the college brings accessible, high-quality commerce education to the region. The department is built on a strong foundation of expert coaching, personalised attention, and a curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with practical application β€” all within the supportive ethos of the Malankara Catholic tradition of education.
