Malankara Catholic College (MCC) is a distinguished institution owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Marthandam. Approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, MCC is committed to academic excellence and holistic development.
The college was established on July 20, 1998, inspired by the educational vision of the Most Rev. Lawrence Mar Ephraem, the first Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Marthandam. Following his passing on April 8, 1997, the Most Rev. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom took over as the second Bishop of the diocese on July 1, 1998, and continued to nurture the institution's growth.
